The Power House was originally built in 1934 to heat the Southern Miss Campus, but now it features Southern and Cajun Cuisine served right to your table. The Power House which is conveniently located across from Cook Library is now the “Late Night” hangout for students. For students wanting to enjoy the weather, there is a courtyard to the side of the building with seating and a relaxing atmosphere. Signature dishes include the Shrimp Po’Boy, Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and Power Burger. Power House is now offering menu items such as Dreamland BBQ and all bread sourced locally from Breadsmith bakery. You can view the full menu at the link below.
