Commuters

Living off campus brings a different set of needs and challenges to college life. Commuters are offered a select group of meal plans specifically tailored with flexibility in mind. Commuters may choose any of our meal plans offered below. Meal plans come with meal swipes that can be used our all you care to eat dining location the Fresh Food Company.

• Meal swipes expire at the end of the semester. 
• Commuter can select from any of the meal plans, including the unlimited plans.
• All meal plans are a two-semester commitment. If you sign up for a meal plan in the Fall, you will automatically be enrolled for the same meal plan in the Spring.
• All meal selection changes must be done online or in the Eagle Dining office before the University's deadline to charge to student accounts. 

Meal Plans and Dining Dollars charged to student account will not be active until the Fall 2024 semester.

*Guaranteed Dining Dollars - $300:

Guaranteed Dining Dollars is a new program for all Southern Miss Hattiesburg campus full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students under the age of 25. Each semester, students will receive $300 in Dining Dollars which can be used at any dining location on campus, including three new locations (Panda Express, Holy Smokes, and Late Night at SWC,) plus concessions. Simply wipe your Student ID and the amount will automatically be deducted from your prepaid credit. This ensures convenience and flexibility for your dining needs on campus. The Guaranteed Dining Dollars are billed to your student account. The remaining Fall Dining Dollars will roll over to the Spring. The remaining balance will reset at the end of the Spring semester.
